How close are you to the Sheikh?

Shaykh Ashraf gave the dars after the hadra this evening.

Among the many wisdoms he shared was something concerning knowing how close or far one is to one's sheikh. It is as he mentioned something that every murid thinks about at one point or another. Now the answer as he gave it goes back to the significance of the relationship between the disciple and the master it being a relationship of souls intended to take the disciple to Allah, Most High.

He said that the one who wishes to know how close he is to his sheikh need look no further than his muraqba dars.

And Allah grants realization.
