Affliction

This evening I learned that when Abul Hassan ( Allah be well pleased with him) was afflicted he turned to Allah and asked.

He asked for an increase in Iman. Not wishing to turn to any besides the sole object of his adoration he asked and left everything else in the hands of One of infinitely more capability. His Lord, Mighty and Wise took it from there: his enemies were smitten and his affliction vanished having served no purpose but to expand his secret and deposit its traces in Hizb al Kabir. 20:28 , 14 04 09
